Nice overview/review of a book that should be in every middle school library (IMHO). This idea goes along nicely with the post I recently read from Buffy Hamilton (The Unquiet Librarian) about book "tasting" in her library. By allowing the students to make their own selections and "taste" different genres with some quiet reading time, students who claimed to hate reading had a different feeling about it after the lesson.
