There are many ways to learn about leadership. One we may overlook is stories of great leaders—and sometimes leaders who faltered. If great leaders are learners, leadership stories have much to offer.

Too often we forget the influence we carry in school library media centers. We are usually the only one in our profession in the entire school and may feel like leadership opportunities are rare. This article says different and I think it’s one many of us should read – if only to remember that sometimes leadership is a small act of courage that resonates far beyond its original scope.
