It may be getting harder for mobile developers to break into the top charts in the various app stores, but there is a healthy and growing “middle class” app economy, according to new data released by analytics firm Flurry this morning.

While I realize the market is simply flooded with app choices, could these "middle class" apps make a financial difference in someone’s life? Could a student create an app that would be self-supporting? Of course they could! The trick is to get the users to sign on…
