This is a guest posting from my friend and colleague, David Carpenter, who is working abroad as an instructional technologist in Asia.
I love it when educators bravely share their missteps with the world but I love it even more when they are able to look at what happened and see how to redirect their energy and turn that failure into a success. I also have to admit that I felt a tingle of joy when I read the part about including the media specialist and that inclusion led to the success this teacher was looking for. My take away is the advice to have patience while planting the seeds of change – it takes a while to grow.
