Some of my favorites: More homework = more learning, achievement in public schools is down, teachers are working less & getting paid more, etc. While there isn’t anything in there that specifically points to librarians and school libraries, I think we can make a case for ourselves under the "teacher-proof" initiatives and the myth about content knowledge. This is a good one to keep in your back pocket next time someone near you starts spouting the popular theory that public schools are worthless…
