I love the way Mr. Steller opens his piece: In a way, the current education system is already set up like a game–just not a very well designed one.

I have been reading about gamification and education as play for a long time and this simple statement was enlightening. So, maybe we don’t have to completely redesign the whole system … maybe we can just grade backwards and place the rewards on risk and attempts. I love this idea!
