This struck me: Automated tutoring employs a new model of education technology, in which students are guided through the learning process, and given support so they can grow into self-directed learners. Unlike education technology programs that simply provide rote question and answer formats, automated tutoring attempts to simulate the one-on-one experience.

Is it a coincidence that I landed on an article this morning about a French school that has no teachers? Is it also a coincidence that these 2 articles both used the same photo? I’m curious about where this is going and what it means for the one-to-one interaction between humans?
