Is Online Education Replacing the Classroom Learning Experience?

This article speaks to higher education but the implications for K-12 are loud and clear. Would we get more engagement and more motivated learners by allowing some of the coursework to be done online? I think so – this has implications for the school librarian. How will s/he help facilitate online learning and is THIS something that will help that position remain relevant?
