Well, I don’t know about you but wasn’t the 4th of July just a few days ago? What happend to Fall? School is in full swing and Christmas is tailgating my Halloween hayride! We can’t let November become a mere sigh between these two holidays, right? Of course not, my learned friends! November can hold its head high in pride because it is the month for National Inspirational Role Models, Family Stories, National American Indian Heritage, and National Scholarship! November has weeks set aside for communication and animal shelters and readers and kindness and storytelling. November has days for planning your epitaph, visiting the Chicken Lady (whoever she is…), common sense, tongue twisters, and homemade bread. Ahh…I feel better now. And you thought I was going to wax poetic about Thanksgiving, didn’t you?

I appreciate the list, but when I looked for more information on Gluten-Free Diet Awareness Month, everything I found said it took place in October. Some of those sites were Canadian, so maybe that’s when Canada celebrates it. Anyway, this brings up the fact that the lists would be much more useful if you provided existing links to websites about the observance; then I’d know I was looking at the right holiday. Thanks.

Goodness! I barely have time to put this thing together – now you want a web list?
) Well, okay…my source says the URL is http://www.theglutenfreelifestyle.com
Remember, I just report this stuff, I don’t make it up and I don’t necessarily troll the web to get all the info… Happy surfing and thanks for stopping by…

Susan, you’ve spoiled me! I start with your monthly info when putting together the Question of the Day for my elementary media center. Now I’m ready to work on December, and you haven’t posted it yet. Does this mean I must search for my own information? Yikes!
I really just want to thank you for providing this monthly service. Happy Thanksgiving!

And I thought I was only doing that with my kids…
December is almost ready for posting – check back around 3:30 this afternoon. I have to get my “wry comment machine” oiled and ready! Thanks for writing and I’m so glad to hear you’re using the information. I’d love to see what you do with your kids on Hoodie Hoo Day!
